Faculty Opening
The Department of Sociology at Seoul National University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position. As an effort to internationalize research and teaching, this position is reserved for scholars of foreign (non-Korean) citizenship.
Salary and appointment level are dependent on experience and based on Seoul National University pay scales (All conditions are applied same as the Korean professors). The appointment is expected to begin on 1 September 2015, pending budgetary and administrative approval.
Applicants should provide a cover letter, a curriculum vitae including list of publications and a statement detailing the direction of research and teaching objectives. To facilitate the process, applicants are encouraged to send the application materials first via email socio@snu.ac.kr and then send the hard copies to the mailing address. For full consideration, materials must be received by October 31st, 2014.
